Heads up! Your southbound I-215 commute may be changing! Starting as soon as July 28, drivers traveling on southbound I-215 in Taylorsville will exit about a mile sooner for the 4700 South interchange. The new exit ramp starts just south of the 4100 South overpass. If you miss the new exit, use the next exit (Redwood Road) to turn around.
Stay alert and be prepared for drivers moving into the right lanes to exit. If you are not exiting at 4700 South, stay in the left lanes.
This change is part of UDOT’s new I-215 Southbound Frontage Road project, designed to reduce
congestion at the 4700 South interchange.
