One of our GovOps Co-workers is going on an adventure and needs a bit of help. This will be a life-changing, humanitarian expedition with Mothers Without Borders.
This expedition will be in Zambia, helping address the orphan crisis. Mothers Without Borders empowers women and youth through education and mentorship. At the center of these vulnerable communities are the women and youth who are disproportionately affected by the struggles their communities face. The Mothers Without Borders programs continue to grow because of the generosity of people like you, who are committed to being part of the change.
Here’s where your help is needed, as part of the expedition, we are asking for donations. This is a list of requested items:
- New Clothes for 5-8 yr olds
- Soccer balls
- Work gloves
- Dark colored twin size sheet sets
- Whiteboard markers
- Disposable razors
- Solid deodorant
- Latex gloves
- Gallon-size Ziploc bags
- Antibacterial surface wipes
- Metal cereal-size spoons
- Lower-level picture and reading books
- AA batteries
- Solar lights (any kind of solar light, flashlight, etc)
- New Children’s underwear (sizes children small to adult med)
- Girls sports bras
- Tylenol, ibuprofen, antifungal cream
- New Newborn and toddler clothes
- New Biker shorts (all sizes for girls/teens) they wear under their dresses when riding their bikes many miles to school
Donations will be accepted in the EDO office (bright blue box) through May 17, 2024.
